As a "foiler" there is so many more aspects to windsurfing than foiling.
Windsurfing was Great already, foiling just made it better.
Still can't get my head (or my body) around what the flicky spinny crew do.
I like the slogan 'makewindsurfinggreatagain' (MWGA)
But I think it involves this
Nico came in 9th iirc at the PWA foiling in Japan. He wouldn't disagree with you.
Elmo nailed it, though. There are a lot of aspects of windsurfing that are super. Foils are just one part (spoken, too, as a diehard foiler)

I love both windsurfing and windfoiling and dont think anyone who windsurfs gives up the fin totally, so I agree with what people said. I guess my point for the slogan was they started windfoiling back in the 80s maybe every earlier?? And it has started to come back recently and gain popularity to the general public as the technology advances and stuff becomes cheaper.
The OP video is 8:09 long, with approximately 45 seconds of windsurfing footage, discussions about rules wind and subscribing.
The NP sail giveaway is nice.

Their is a dedicated foiling forum.
Indeed there is forceten, thank you for warning me I'm getting carried away on the wrong forum. I like the foiling forum on Seabreeze but Windsurfing is still more popular and like Elmo said there are many more aspects to windsurfing then foiling, and there are lots of good tips to improve my sailing ability in general on here
Both on a stilt or slapping have some merit.
It's the challenge of getting close to mastering either before we die of old age that matters most.

"The life is short, the craft so long to learn" - Hippocrates. Who knew he was a winsurfer.
This time of year you either pack it up for 4 or 5 months or take up formula or foiling and burden yourself with more junk and sailing in the cold.
