How many grams,mililitres of straight resin mix would there be in a deep tuttle head ?

i agree dont be tightbetteroff to much than not enough especially if your molding

Just a suggestion, you could line the box with clingwrap or something similar and tip water in from a measured source.

Should be about 80ml Col. Depending on the volume of the base that you're using. Then once it's shrunk and dried, another 10ml top up to level it off.
