R.I.P Sailworks 1989 - 2024

Sadly Sailworks has ceased manufacture of sails, masts and accessories. Their last production run was June 24 and all 500 plus sails have since been sold. Nearly everyone that I've spoken with over the years has owned a Retro, the flagship freeride model at some stage. Their foiling sails gained a strong following as did the Revo wave sail. Sailworks has moved on with other sail projects.

Pictured is Bill with the last Sailworks Retro 6mtr ever made.

I started on syncos and bravos. Now have flyers and revos. I have in my quiver of 3.2 3.7 4.0 4.2 4.7 5.0 5.2 5.4 5.7 6.2 Revolutions. 5.2 6.0 7.0 and 8.2 flyers
and a 7.0 retro. Bruce,Dale, and Jim have been very helpful over the years. Sad that they are not making sails anymore.

While I have never actually owned a Sailworks sail I have used them and they did work very well. Very sad seeing long time brands going out of business. I guess it's just a sign of the times.
