Hi All, I'm chasing some advice on repair options for an AHD Tracer I've just picked up second-hand.
Its got some strange (quite superficial) holes on the bottom surface, 600mm from the nose, I'm not really seeing any glass or carbon fibres in the area? What sort of constructon is this? Will a light sand, drop of epoxy and plastic film for a flat finish do here?
Also, there is a fair chunk missing from the fin so I think the previous owner hit something and also damaged the fin box leading edge and trailing edge .
The white top-coat inside the fin box has fully delamed from the epoxy, , which I have now removed, but my main concern is the central crack down the leading edge of the tuttle fin box.
Any advice on how to repair either of these areas please?
Cheers
Sean

Yes to the nose as it's non structural. but the box needs to be replaced and no insult intended but you don't wanna do it for a first time repair

Thanks Mark, I've done some glassing, but know I don't have the time or skills for a new fin box!
