From FB today. Three new SB speed shapes, 40, 45 and 52. Good to see SB offering a full range of dedicated speed boards in all sizes, not just slalom/speed mix.
Do they come with foil box for speedfoiling?
I think the 40 is foil ready ??
Still don't like the short mast track on them, limits the tuning range
Or is it in the go fast position already ? I'd have no idea . I'm no where near good enough to use one, and if I was, I'd need 2 . They look fast . I'm trying to crack 33kts ,it looks like this thing only starts planing at 33
I'd reckon it would feel like getting a wake board going behind a ski boat .

You need a JP 55 wide x 84litres. Speed & float. All the new speed boards are low in volume, realistically too low for my sailing. But when it's on it's on and you need small.
We have a few epic locations in WA where we can get away with these boards and a few guys that make them sing.

Couple of photo's from windsurf44.com of the new 2024 SB speed boards, the 40cm and 45cm are in the background right side on the 2nd photo. I think the speed 40, 45 and 52 are out in August. Very nice, but way out of my budget....
Do they come with foil box for speedfoiling?
Yes and no, the foil box is a special order for people who need an anchor to slow down
