I have just realized there is a new feature on GPS-SS which allows sailors to upload their SBN file. After you do this you go to a page where you see your results already calculated and auto checked by the server. There you can add your comments and complete your session post.
This is a great thing for those people who don't have a bought copy of GPS-Results or GPSAR Pro. (Both of these software programs will do the auto upload for you after you run your tracks.)
The big advantage of using Auto Upload is that you session will appear almost immediately as verified. The only exception is if your session is a PB or puts you in the top 15 of a ranking. Those posts still need to be manually verified by a timekeeper for obvious reasons. Using the auto upload feature, either from the two software programs mentioned, or directly to the website also take a huge workload off the shoulders of the RTK verification volunteers. Please use it.
Andrew,
You can also do an auto post through the GPSTC (in the "my data" section) although the 5x10 only shows up as the average 5 times and not the individual 5 best 10 sec runs. GPSSS doesn't allow you to correct this so if it's really important or an exceptional session then I suppose uploading the SBN file would be more prudent.
That's a great feature Brian and saves a lot of hassle, but it is still a manual post so verification takes longer and creates more work for the RTK.
Of course this (and KA72) doesn't allow you to delete your accidental drive home...
( Unless I missed that feature? )
KA72 doesn't allow you to delete your accidental drive home, you're right, though I will probably add that at some point...
I wonder what engine GPS-SS is using? Has anyone checked the results it calculates against any other software?

Doh, just looked more closely at the screenshot, and it says there "Powered by GPSResults" so I guess they have bought some kind of enterprise license or something and are doing it that way.
