Wind was a bit light at first but filled in nicely in the afternoon. Forecast for wind building into the weekend. Just too good to believe
Looks nice
Just curious though as I noticed on a few of the LG vids...Whats with the hanging of the appalling (up haul) rope with the front hand?

I do it when marginally powered to keep the sail upright while hiking out in the harness. It feels like it tilts the sail windward less than having arms straight and right next to the harness lines, and probably keeps from prematurely overloading the fin?
Example: yesterday was barely getting gusts to plane while pumping with everything I could with a 9.5. It felt like it was going to slow down so I grabbed the uphaul and nursed it a bit to keep it accelerating. It worked, then a gust hit and I could go back to the boom. Have done it on the the foil to, at least race foils with big sails. Doesn't seem to be as effective with freeride gear because the sails deform more and flatten out unloaded.

when its marginal it helps to go upwind, more useful at LG because weed fins have less lift

Helps a lot for better upwind angle,
