Some quick footage from last Saturday at Canton Beach. Very low water level made the water flat and the weed was nowhere as bad as usual. Couple of really smooth sections. A warm sunny day and only a handful of the boys out.
Was a great day out sailing.
When we first got there Pugs was sailing so a quick rig and out there. Matty & Rexy then came out followed by Mick a bit later. The wind backed off but superb on the water.
Hope you enjoy.
Cheers,
Larko
Bloody hell that was flat. Looked heaps of fun Good backing music as well Looks like sombody has been in that top paddock with me over winter
wheres the gybes- should be doing 20+ alphas in that kind of water!
you are a tool
Great vid Larko, hopefully tomorrow will be as good conditions as that day.
GoPros make short fat boards look long and skinny.
Canton Beach is a sweet spot for flat water in a southerly wind.
Karl, the board is a 99 liter 63 wide slalom board. Don't reckon its that short and fat. We all know how Canton works!!!!
Glad everyone enjoyed it, was a sweet day.
Rexy got an Alpha pb and most guys were doing 20+ Alphas. funny that.
yep i saw the 20 alpha but all the gybes were edited out of that video as were all the take offs = all it really showed was straight line speed.
the end parts of the runs are more interesting and much more informative about how well some one sails than the bits in between.
Either you get to see great foot work and control or awesome wipe outs :)
All it was about was showing how flat the water was, nothing more. Its supposed to be fun. If its not to your liking, oh well!!!!
Looked good to me KA43, nice flat water. Well done and keep enjoying your self, we can not all be legends. Roar show us some of your awesome sailing so we can look down our noses like you. Suds
Revisited this thread and noted some comments, I for one enjoy most of these videos, I'm always keen to check out where others sail and do a little dreaming. If I get bored I just click out and move on, easy as
