Posting this here for those that aren't on GPSTC or missed it. It's been a strange almost windless winter here in WA but we finally got a strong gusty NW a few days ago. Sailors spread out everywhere so I couldn't be in all places at once to catch the action. I just missed Dodi's lightning run at Coods so headed to Lake Walyungup (Rsoles) which is infrequently sailed. Slowy, Antman and Kai made the long trek in, then braved the razor sharp rocks just below surface to be rewarded with some nice runs. After that Slowy wanted to test another board so back to our local spot at Melville. I was too chicken to sail (recovering from injury is my weak cover story).
Two videos of the action below.
Brilliant Jim, great you captured Rsoles as it's infrequent that the weather aligns for this spot to work. Usually you only get one go per year if your lucky.
Bloody awesome . I can see it took some planning bit of a walk a little cool and great drone flying but it sure looked worth it ,what a day .Melville looked good too .
