As most of you would know we recently lost a true Legend of our great sport, FNQ Mob's much loved Lyn Halloran.

After Lyn's service yesterday we went back to Herbs for some tucker, drinks and even some laughs, celebrating a life cut short but not wasted.

On behalf of our Mob, Captain Kel presented Herby with the 2012 Winters Cup with an extra inscription.

Again I'd like to sincerely thank Hards and Nebs for this wonderful competition, the GPS Team Challeng, a maker of mates

Thanks for sharing these photos Bob. Such a lovely idea to have the trophy engraved with those kind words and couldn't agree more with your comment of

"GPS Team Challenge, being a maker of mates"

Agree with 25, couldn't be more fitting.

When we were at Kurramine last year, Lyn showed us stacks of photos of GTC sailors from up and down the coast.
She was very involved with the GTC and it's members, I'm sure Lyn touched the lives of many many people.

We'll never forget her.

A very touching gesture Bob and I'm proud to be a member of the FNQ mob.
