Good afternoon,

Can someone please pass on the easy way to join a couple of seperate sessions done on the same day together. I know it is done through the GPS. But last time I tried I just made a mess of it.

Thanks in advance PK

I don't think you can join two .sbn files (the ones on the SD card), together in the GPS, but if you go to the logger and do a "save to card" you'll get the .sbp file, that has the last 7hrs on it. so if you've done over 7hrs that day you'll miss some data, but if you've done under 7hrs you'll have stuff from previous days that you'll have to separate out. probably almost as hard as joining two sessions together.

What software are you using? they all join sessions differently.

Thanks Mike,
I will try that. I have done it before but have forgotten how.
Might have to give KA72 Dylan another email.

I am using KA72.

Thanks

GpsResults and RealSpeed are programs that allow you to get a lot more out of your files, in your case joining 2 files would take less than 1 minute. You can also split your files, analize jybes etc. They cost a small fraction of the gps price and buying you support dedicated windsurfers that are providing useful tools for all of us.

You can add gpsarpro to that list.
I think we should all be able to check our own data. KA72 is a great resource but it does let a few bad results through.
If you're using a GT31 or GW52 gpsresults can also check the accuracy of your data.

Analysing my gybes is easy. If I come out of one dry it's a good one.

I will have a look at the other sites though.

They aren't sites like KA72, they're software programs you buy, I think with most of them you have a month or so to try them out before you have to pay up.
