Everyone knows how great these watches are and here is some more proof
After my GW60 died at LG I gave it to a retired guy who was pretty sure he could fix it.
He pulled it apart and these photos are what he found. He has fixed it and it works perfectly Well for now anyway.
He said some of the parts were made out of steel and should have been stainless steel.
Yep, my adjust button just fell off, shaft completely rusted through.
The big thing with the watch is don't press any button if there's any moisture around!!! The watch can suck water in when buttons are pressed.
But that doesn't save the button shafts.
Following instructions and rinsing thoroughly with fresh water after salt water immersion will probably help.
I asked the local supplier the other day how watch sales were going,
He said good, he's just ordered 40 more, and he didn't think Locosys was too bad to deal with. I think he's in denial.
How the **** he got that circlip off without a microscope is beyond me.
^^ stuffed eyes. Too much staring into sun on port tacks.
Yep, hats off, that's a very fiddly job! I figured I could get the circlip off, but would probably loose it in the process, and even if I didn't loose it would have almost zero chance of getting it back on. Which is why I just sealed the adjust hole with silicone.
