not really, although this is only my second season speed sailing so I am probably learning a lot each time I go out. it is a "flat" water spot for so that must help and I think I was well powered for the kit I was on. I put my boom down and mast track forward more than normal so I had lots of control, but probably less of that flying feeling.

Those are impressive speeds for the Bay Area! As you know up in the north locations there is not even a proper 500m long strip! Was this in Palo Alto?

Congrats, those are amazing speeds! I reached only 28kn in the bay and it already felt fast. Something to learn still :-).
