Still frothing over that spot...But i will be back!! Surely there is a point when water is too glassy for speed sailing?

You'd be happy if you got to water ski on water that smooth let alone speedsail on it. That place is just incredible. Sooooo jealous

Man, thats even more glassy than when I was there a fortnight earlier. I checked the middle lake water levels and it has dropped 150mm! it is now -750, it was about -600 when the crowds were there!

Kimba,
the level will go up and down with the wind direction as it is still connected to the big lake, don't think the water has really got lower just the weed a bit higer especially in the avo, I am off on tuesay and forcast looks the goods, just been 15 to 20 last few days and the weekend looks the same as well, will get to try my new slalom board, never had a slalom before. sailed with Hamma and Rick that day was sweet on a 5.8 and missile over the glass.

If you could sail there a number of times you would soon get your gear and the spot dialed in hamma would have easily done 600+km sailing on the lake this year,he got so dialed in that he wasn't even using his hands to grip the boom just using the harness ......true, work sucks
