An urgent need for a holiday came upon me last week, so I have booked a spur-of-the-moment trip to Victoria. Touching down 20/3. 
The plan is to spend some time touring around the Eastern side of the state and high-tail it to Sandy Point if the forecast shows potential.
Looking forward to meeting some Pit Crew! (and stealing all your go-fast secrets) If you see a half-frozen Pinna dogging down the pit with the wrong size sail, come say hi!

Hi Porka - it will be good to meet you also. Unfortunately we are going into doledrums season so possibly no good winds for a while. But, you never know, you might get lucky!
Yep as per Kato - "Werribee and Colac"??? Colac sounds like an intestinal disease, and Werribee - unless you are a sewerage engineer...???
Maximus - re the doledrums, I am newish sailing here, but going by last year, more winds when winter begins.
crappppp the wind does not shut down just yet, i have had some great sessions about 2 weeks into autumn, then it shuts down. come on fellas dont put down the pit
and the wind fans at the pit sometimes switch back on at the end of autumn with a tone of gales, your talking 40+ knots, sandy point is now classed as the most windy place in Australia, so i am very proud of that as a vicco
