magic day at primbee, my body was telling me to rig a 5.5 but I had just picked up larko's 6.2 ev11 so rigged with reservations, wind was a steady 25knts with some 30knt bullets, I was on the jp sp50 for most of the day and the gopro wasn't a good angle, a bit of a strange wind and pushing to windward on both tacks but good enough to manage a 34+on the jpsp 50

I was going to ask you what the water temp was 'cause I need to come up and visit a few Wollongong friends. Then you gybed and I saw what you were wearing. Sure you weren't in CBR?

Should have also said I liked the gopro angle. Gave a better view of where you were than the usual view straight down. Reading Akims rave reviews of your fins I'll take you up on that offer. Fingers crossed I can get to Sanctuary Point on 30/9. ACT Public Holiday!!!

hey, great video beefy keefy, your a great sailor man,,,, me and other central coast dudes have been keen to get there but its a massive mission and yeah, the water depth scares us, by us I mean me, we have noticed great results from down there but we put it down to great sailors more so than the spot, although the spot looks amazing, we get mixed reports, some dudes tell us its too dangerous and other dudes tell us, just go for it, why dont u guys come up here, theres heaps of weed for everyone!!!!

hey milsy I wouldn't say I was a great sailor, I just have some great sailing venues , StartBeach Pde, Canton Beach, NSW 2263Local InfoEndNicolle Rd, Primbee, NSW 2502Local InfoDistance: 227.7km Time: 2hr 46min (approx)
Travel: Fastest (with tolls)
the port Macquarie guys are heading down to sandy next month, now that's a massive mission,
I sailed canton last year in variable chop and weed and found it heeps more dangerous than primbee , at primbee you have the option to sail either in shallow water and weed or no weed , where there's no weed its still waist deep for a NM , at canton I found the chop a bit mixed up and clumps of course brown weed in clumps that can be a problem for even a 50deg fin
the weed at primbee is a fine soft weed , you can hit it at 30+knts(faster the better)you will notice a slight tug and then its gone, if you want to smoke some weed, primbee's the place

ok im sold, ill bring the weed,,, but your right, canton isn't 100% safe, i think of it like sailing in a mine field, you could hit a bomb at anytime, and catapult for about 50m, ha, next good westerly, ill try and get a group to come down and then finally, primbee will be on the map, ha, c ya soon...............plus leo stands over me, maybe his mellowed with motherhood

Miller has to work. Sucker. But Larko is coming down and maybe even Pete. I've been checking marine wind graph on bom site and is pretty reliable and is showing 20/25 by lunch. I think sea breezes forecasts in the past are a farkn joke. Really!! Maybe 100 ks off shore it's a little more accurate but, not even. Even updates don't tell true the conditions up til then. Surely our technology is better than this. Oh **** you've got me started. Sea breeze needs to ace it up when it comes to forecasts and put a little more effort in or don't bother! See you thursdy Keef. Can't wait!
