This has probably been discussed before now! But what in everyones' own personal opinion are the quality speed fins on the market at the moment?
I am in need of a new fin 20-24 cm for my 50L Isonic Speed and if anyone could make any recomendations it would be greatly appreciated!
cheers

Jordan, check with these guys in Tassie, Izaak is probably the best if you can track him down. They are right onto what is needed over there.

As i said Jordan and as leo said a Vector Delta speed fin is the go, price is quite good too and are proven to to hold in that very bad chop off the end of the run at Stanley.I will let you know if dad orders another one, he said he will make his mind up over the weekend.

Hi Jordan, Steve and I are about to get some C3 Slingshots, you could consider getting a 21cm for the iSonic 50. Should be a good alround speed fin for your weight. If you want one, let me know.

You might seen my blog about fins:

Choco is OK, very similar to Tectonics.
But in some way, I like C3 venom very much.
They are a little "dead" but you can push them to no limits.

wow, that is alot of fins....wonder how much moneys worth??

Jordan, one of the Sa speed demons (Carl) has a 24cm C3 Venom in buy and sell.
I have only used a 24 techtonics F1 falcon that came with my board and that sure seemed sweet never let go and gave me plenty of confidence to get me over 40 for the first time.

More than keeping 3 (almost 4) kids and a wife for a year.

"Techtonics F1 Falcon" is still the best all round speed fin.

Lots of brands have tried to copy the techtronics F1.

However, they fail to use the correct correct grade of G10.

There is G10 & then there is G10. (cheap G10 & expensive G10)

hey guys, thanks for all the great feedback! It was between the vector delta and a C3 venom or slingshot. Eventually I ended up ordering a 23 Vector Delta. Hopefully this latest addition will increase my chances of finally hitting 40!

cheers
