Whilst sailing on Sunday I noticed that my speed genie readings (when set to switch between results) did not show any values (all 0.00 except the historical max). If set to other display options (e.g. 2s max the results would display).
This has happened once before but I reset it by turning the unit off and on. Unfortunately this approach did not work Sunday.
Luckily all the data was still captured and I have the results just nothing to see on the GT31.
Has anyone else experienced this problem.
Note: I have the firmware that shows the easier to read font. I think it is v1.3b1123T

Did you exceed your speed threshold for speed genie?
If you did not go faster it will not display a value.
Try dropping the value and see if that helps.

Thanks for the tip, I think that was it. I figured the gt-31 was pretty idiotproof but I'm clearly a bigger idiot than the design allowed for. Actually with all of the posts about them locking/up freezing I assumed there was a similar problem occurring.
