He was also spotted doing a big forward right in front of me the showoff!!

Luckily without the GPS... I wonder who had it then?

Perhaps the same sailor who was begging me for a go earlier on that day? [}:)]

27 knots is about 50 kilometres?

So thats 48.6km/hr?

Come down to Mandy-rah this weekend, there's a big race on Sunday.

Barbecue, lots of GPS's floating around, probably some spare boards to borrow...

Hmmm did I forget something?

.... erm...

Oh yes, FLAT water

Becareful Greenroom..after 15 years of NOT sailing on flat water and living in the surf and open ocean.. I did the unthinkable... I rode a speed board at christmas.. my mistake
I now find myself learing about speed fins, have bought KA Koncept sails, ordered new boards......
but.
.
.
.What a rush totally on the edge....big sails small boards = fun and exciting

Be careful Greeny....be very careful...[}:)]

cheers

Wish them aliens would bring back the real Greeny! this is getting seriously disturbing now

There are some things in life you just don't mess with

The Greenroom needs to be in the Greenroom gently fondling Huey so he will produce another perfect form for him to destroy.

Flat water to the Greenroom is and should only be the bit between the waves

Stay true buddy we'll get you through this crisis of faith the Dark side is not for you

Hey Greeny & Windy, there's nothing wrong with going downwind as fast as you can through the swell
I was at Dutch Inn a few weeks ago when Troppo did just over 30 knots there He's like you and loves the waves but also loves a speed fix every now and again.
Also Greeny you know you have to try and go faster than Windy now

Hey Miller,

That peak is unfortunately a spike, your top speed was around 27 knots. The spike was probably where you teleported north a bit, this usually happens when getting dunked and then getting going again, the GPS gets a bit confused.

27 knots is pretty quick in that massive chop though! And for a first time GPS user that is definitely impressive Lots of people don't manage to get past 23 knots their first time.
