Looks really windy there and quite choppy. Half inclined to sell up and travel round Aus for a few years.

I was at Shelly Beach in 78 () I remember the water was very salty and buoyant
It was so rough due to the incoming tide against the wind direction.
We had it in excellent conditions three days prior to this.
We clocked over 30kts on our runs in 27c temperature.
You can use a pointer and can sail for km after km.
It is such a beautiful spot and hardly any body ventures this far of the tourist track.
I recommend you have spare masts, booms etc.
We destroyed - sail - two masts- boom.
But it was worth it.
After a day of sailing , hot shower and a beer.Life is great living the dream
