So worthwhile and so much fun!

Here are the NSW dates:
Jan 18, 19, 20 Jervis Bay, NSW Freeride
Jan 21,22,23 Gerroa Waves
Can't wait!!
I'll check regarding how to register and get back to you.
Meanwhile, others interested could PM me and I'll pass our details on together.
go@guycribb.com
The cost has not been confirmed but if it's like last year it would be around $750 per course (or $500 if under 21 years old), $1300 for two courses. There is a $300 deposit needed to secure places ($500 for two courses). Check with Guy if under 18 (normally need to be with an adult who is also attending the course). Arrange own gear and accommodation.
INtuition Freeride course specialises on gybing, radically improved stance, acceleration, tuning, control, footstrapping, water starting and all your questions thoroughly answered.
There is no risk with this course which works no matter the wind strength or weather.
Anyone had any confirmation of details for the Gerroa course from Guy yet?
My expectations are low but would expect to have heard something by now.
I had an email back from Gosia on 28/11 to acknowledge the booking enquiry, and that 2018 prices tbc soon. I'll follow up next week
Just a thought, the 21st Jan clashes with the Nsw wavesailing event at Gerroa. Might be worth a change to avoid any conflict as it's not generally a big sailing area.
I sent a mail to Guy weeks ago but he hasn't responded. Does anyone have a direct email for his helpers at all?
John B
Contact Gosia at go@guycribb.com or pgcribb@gmail.com. She usually responds in 1 - 2 days. As of 30/12 she was still waiting for Guy to confirm all the 2018 info and costs.
Don't worry! He's coming! If you don't hear anything, Just show up and he'll be there.
Gosia is the best email since he's been really busy and I think travelling with restricted internet access.
Anybody received recent notice of confirmation for the Jervis bay freeride??
i sent a 'touch base' to Gosia a few days ago - no reply
Getting close to needing to pack and head down from sunny QLD. Long way to go without confirmation
Cheers Jeff
nothing here either, sounds a bit casual I wouldve thought he'd be locking in attendees rather than rock up and see if anyone comes
Here's an update from Guy for Gerroa...Yes he is coming...If you need more info (cost/payment details/fine print) just PM me your email and I'll forward what I have.
Cheers J.

Enjoy Jeff and Max! I'm sure you are going to get heaps out of the course again Jeff. Say hi to Guy from me and hope you get some great wind conditions.
How was the Guy Cribb course at Sanctuary point last week?
Short answer - awesome
Great location - friendly welcoming locals
light winds long days. Absolutely leggless at end of each day
small group - lots of 1:1. Guy very attentive
very friendly team - all made progress
my son Max absolutely stoked - can't stop talking about the experience ; memories that will last a lifetime.
left with some major breakthroughs in technique and plenty to practice for the coming season
Video Feedback on drone footage - absolutely priceless
Looking forward to next year
cheers Jeff
I agree with you Jeff,
Awesome clinic, standout feature was the review of the drone footage which was immensely helpful.
Small friendly group & all questions & technique we explained as to why things were done a certain way, as apposed to do it my way.
Totally stoked with my results, even though I missed the first day due to work. I picked up & improved many things, particularly my carve gybing technique & will be in for the next one for sure.
Here is a bit of footage on the last afternoon of the Clinic that I got from Guy if anyone is interested, I finally got around to downloading a video editor to cut a bit of the boring stuff out
That looks awesome from a drone. How does that work, is Guy on the shore following you with the drone to get footage?
If he had two-way helmets he could even offer you instant advice.
What size gear were you on that day?

Hi FormulaNova,
Yep, he is on the shore following with the drone, even though he never gave me any feedback from that arvo, the feed back he gives the next morning from the first 2 afternoons is great, (I learnt a lot missing the first day & arriving during the video review session the next morning)
The 2 way helmet Idea for instant feedback would be great!
I had a 2012 super light wind 90, about a 44cm weed fin (unsure of brand) & a 2017 9.2m Turbo GT. Wind was probably around 13-15 knots at a guess.
That's great footage Geoff
i can see Guys coaching showing in your moves
Good boomshanker
#prouddad Video
My 13yo son Max is the other windsurfer, I was too exhausted to get back out. Plus who was going to pack the car to get him back to Qld for school?
Jp supersport 124 Bic techno 7.8 rig standard 44cm freeride fin - lots of weed evident in the video
Thanks for sharing the videos Geoff and Jeff
Fantastic sailing Max! You were owning that 7.8 buddy!! So glad you got some wind. We promise to organise a bit more next time you head down.
