My name is Daniel. I m 34 and have been windsurfing since I m 10. I haven't been on the water for around 7 years but i want to get back into it. I brought a 76l twin fin and 4.0 and 4.7m sail from home. I life in maroubra (eastern subs) and have been checking out wanda and georra before but never had enough wind/ waves.
I m looking to waveride only maybe a couple times flat water in strong winds to get back into it again but after that I'm only chasing cross/ crossoffshore winds with waves (no onshore can t jump anymore have broken knee).
I drive a van so do have plenty of space if someone needs a lift.
Anyone interested in sailing together? Or do you guys use a facebook group or something similar to meet up if conditions are right?

Hey mate, I was in a similar position a few years ago before discovering just how good the sailing around here can be. I live in Gerringong now.
If you can get a board with a bit more float and a 5.0 or 5.2 ish you'll open up a few more options.
At Gerroa you'll never need more than a 5.0 even on the 12knot days as it's so offshore. I'm 93-95kgs at the moment and generally use a 5.0/95L on the light days.

Hi Guys, Returning to Windsurfing after 10 years of break too. I?m 34yo. Was doing always only lakes and flat water. But would like to get on waves... Live in Bondi and looking for mates. I have 86L Board and 5.3 Sail for now... Went already twice surfing and didn't forget it. Harness, straps, water start I'm fine. Need to practise more Gibes... I like rosebay but would like to discover new places and try waves and get some tips how to get on them... Cheers
