Heading to Yamba for two weeks 06-18 Sep 20 with a heap of gear. Hope to catch up and sail with any of the locals (if the wind plays the game).
I am actually doing the same 12th - 14th Sep but only taking the wing foil. No idea where to sail but looks like there is plenty of water around...

I'm taking my new foil and board as well. Haven't tried foiling yet so I may need some advice.
You may get lucky with the odd seabreeze starting to show up, whiting beach in yamba is great for learning to foil in anything from the north. deep, plenty of room and no weed.In a southerly maybe best to drive over to iluka bay for learning foiling. Bring a surfboard though as the wind can be fickle in September. Last weekend it was strong westerlies all weekend. you should have a nice time what ever happens as spring is a good time in yamba and very quite at present with the Qld border restrictions, have fun
Will try and come up and give you some lessons , we are planning a week if the northeasters start early ,you can always stop in on the way and will give you a lesson
A couple of us from Ballina will be there on Sunday afternoon sailing from Whiting beach in the North Easterly.
Managed to snare a moderate NE on Thursday. Was a pretty good session albeit short noting we had to pack up the house in preparation to head home. Got some more foiling practice in. That **** is hard!!!
Back home yesterday on the South Coast to be welcomed with two days of NE.
