Does that mean that competition starts on the Monday and finishes on the Saturday ? (thus booking accomodation Sunday in to Sunday out?)

There is a camping ground that is walking distance from the beach but it is far enough that it's better to drive gear down.

Competition runs from Monday to Friday. Saturday is a reserve day and will be used ONLY if there is no results from previous 5 days. So sunday to sunday would have you covered.

Wind is starting to look good for the contest from the first day so far, and the sand banks are working great.
