Most informative pics of mooloolabah I have seen so far. Hope to get up there soon, what was the wind speed and what is the parking like, is it safe to leave boards n gear in the back of a ute. 
Dunno why you guys sail there when Cotton Tree is cross shore down the line wave riding and super smooth on the inside...

I've been hitting cotton tree more often lately Stribo totally agree, especially in a good SE can be nice waves, the exception is when the tide is sucking out hard, it's crapola and risky near the mouth.
Mools is handy for the best fish and chips , prawns on the coast on your way home though!
