Hi,I just bought a brand new 2023 Point-7 (220-270) carbon boom. When I assembled it, it seems to me that there is a lot of clearance (meaning diameters of the tubes) between the two parts. I currently use an aluminum one, which also feels clunky and clatters, and you can feel it while sailing. And this new one looks even sloppier. On Saturday, hope I could test it, but I don't think this clearance will go away by rigging. What's your opinion? Is this normal for carbon booms? So far, I have always used aluminum ones.Regards from Bulgaria!
