Assy? Pyro? If you can see that your eyes are better than mine.
Weird isn't it, some people just see what they want to see and not whats actually there.
Trying to imagine the -slightly tired- marketing blurb implications of it all.
Yearbook 2025: Duoclone Raddi-Assy 85,3L
Left rockerline is tweaked for earlier planing and better turning all at the same time
Right rockerline now sports spiral V into concave for better off the lip reactivity
Left rail is slightly more tucked upfront and sharper near the tail for unmatched chopbothering performance
Right rail we simple couldn't improve upon (note to self: ChatGTP maybe?)
Top-turn tailside has an infinitesimal amount of tailkick added and slightly more toe-in for offense sake compared to last years already supadupa offering
Left&Right volume distribution is "optimized" compared to last years assiest of assy's
What we want to know is what the top picture has to do with either a Severne or an Assy....?
The one on the right is assy. The tail looks wonky.
Maybe manufacturing is being moved to China and they are all coming out wonky ?
It doesn't need to go to China. Cobra is doing wonky just fine.
On another note, when manufacturers make Assy boards, you obviously have to choose left or right. If you sail both breaks, do they give a discount for buying 2?
here it is the New Pyro Prototype 2025 Review.
'' this nuke red new board from Severne with unmatched parallel straight line stability , still turn on a dime due to asm fin box sizes and tail with double slot screws ....... www.severneboards/year2025/pyroprototype
Assy foilbox added, way to go. I see da future
Actually it is double assy foilbox check your glasses ...
What we want to know is what the top picture has to do with either a Severne or an Assy....?
The second board from the top is the upcoming new pyro and has to do with 2024

TAKE MY MONEY DUOCLONE !!!
Saw the new pyro in the flesh yesterday. Looks like some subtle rocker+V alterations but still loaded with the original full speed pyro-ness fans know and love. Definitely not another assy for Ben's growing board collection.
The previous 79 pyro has different character and rocker lines in comparison to the bigger models I hope they used that for all 2024 pyro models.
Starboard asm
You do have to watch out for optical illusions here.
In the opening post the boards are not asymmetrical but the shot was taken with a wide angle lens which distorts the foreground to suggest the fish tail on the Starboard is asymmetrical when it's not.
In this picture of Liam Dunkerbeck, taken with a long lens, the Starboard 'Ultra' wave board is the 2023 version which has a diagonal paint job at the tail. That diagonal of white makes it look like the fin boxes are set asymmetrical, when they are not.
That paint job has changed for the 2024 board which are now red on the underside at the tail, and painted with a vee shape instead of the diagonal line.
I look forward to seeing the new 2024 Severne Pyro, as yet not launched. But in the Severne range the asymmetrical board is the Stone design - which has an assym tail and assym boxes.
@basher Maybe you are right about the last picture or it's a custom . The opening pic was only about pyro 2024
The questions to be answered for the asm boards (for sure quatro flikka carve Machine and Severne stone - less aggres design )
1. are those shapes very specific and uncompromised or do they keep a relatively wide range of use?
2. benefit at the bottom and top turn or top turn only ?
3. Does this mixed bottom hull shape disturb water flow mn resistance or does this depend on a high or less aggressive asymmetric shape?
4. Are those shapes better and benefit the most, side side off , side or side onshore
first rumors 1. specific 2. top turn 3. it depends on 4. side onshore
