it appears from Fanatic's website , the they are using double footstrap screws on the 2022 and 2023 years.

does anyone know if the 2021 year boards have this as well ? or prior years?

many probably wouldn't care either way....but double screws on the footstraps would be a game changer for me.

Twisting foot straps. No matter how tight get the screws.they still twist. My one custom slalom board has twin screw inserts. No twisting..and I don't even have to crank down on the screws that much. It's one thing that annoys me on WS boards..

I agree, while not a game changer, it is far superior to any of those anti twist gizmo's that inevitably never work. JP went double screws on there foot straps a couple of seasons ago, twisting is just not a thing anymore.

Ah ok. I prefer one screw as it has some welcomed flex when under tension to prevent injury. I use this technique on all boards except for starboard whose system actually works:

Also easier to dial in the straps width and I setup my straps openings as such:

It's been long time waiting for the brands to get on it! Salut!I'm sure there's lot of good reasons behind it having a new paint job and earlier planing design every season, but still takes some 40 years to figure out that 2 screws prevent things from twisting better than one :)

Ok..maybe not a game changer . But two screws just mean less chance of stripping screw heads or worse the insert. Not a lot of force needed to tighten screws. Once I get a foot strap reasonable tight and set. Over time the deck pad compresses underneath strap. And then you have to retorque the screws again. Ann's forget about moving straps around . If you want to experiment with different positions ..

not a big deal..but one of those things that would be nice .and don't have to reinvent the wheel(board)
