Small piece of info: I got the chance to weight a Point-7 SDM 430 K80 and K100, 80% and 100% carbon respectively. The difference in weight is quite significant, 156 grams, but more interesting is its distribution. The top of the K100 is 531 grams vs 760 for the K80. The bottom 1019 (K100) vs 946 (K80). So where it matters, the top, you are shaving off about 230 grams, or half a pound, and the bottom is actually slightly heavier for the K100.
Of course besides the weight there is the better reflex for the K100, and I can't wait to try the K100 it with my ACZ 6.8 and ACX 7.5!
Beautiful finish for both of them!
Would have been interesting if you had the opportunity to test a batch of these masts to see if the weight distribution was the same on all.
Big diff .both look nice .. I use a EZZY 460 RDM /90 on my 7,9 ACX seems to work ok ,such a grunty sail for a no cam and seems to like being fully powered ,and fast.
I think after seeing those weights ..100% for me .
but on the other hand the 80 will be bullet proof .

ACXs are great!
Choco: masts grow roughly 15 cm each section when you go up 30cm. So, the K100 460 top would be 538 x 230/215 = 575, and the K80 760 x 230/215 = 813. A ballpark difference of 275 grams btw the tops.
