Hello guys,

I wanted to know if you have tried the s2maui wave sails that have come out in recent years, do you recommend them? quality? technology? similar to a conventional sail?

Grateful for any help.

We have an allmost complete set of Dragons. Most of them are from 2018, one 2021 and we expect the new 4,2 to come in March. And also some Wickeds (2020,2021) and Venoms (2017, 2019, 2022)
The Dragons are the lightest sails we had so far. The quality is really good and the x-ply laminate is outstandig. Well, the colours of some model could be a bit more lifely, but it looks better in nature than in the catalouge.
The 5,2 Dragon is the favorite sail of my wife. She says that it pulls better than the 5,3 Blade Pro. I think they are quite equal in this regard but the Dragon feels significantly lighter.

I recently changed from a set of Ezzy's zeta (3,7 to 5,8) to a 2022 set of S2maui Alchemy (3,7 to 5.3). Used the Ezzy Sails for 4 yrs. Until now I've tried only 4,7 with my onshore Witchcraft Shaman 96HDD. Completely different philosophy. S2maui are very light sails compared to the Ezzy's. The power is delivered in a more direct way where as Ezzy's deliver power gradually. My only doubt is whether S2 Maui are more stable in high winds, since Ezzy performance at this level is unparalleled. From another point of view, fatique may come later with S2 sails due to the fact that they are very light and strong. 5,8 zeta was useless to me and was replaced with a freerace 5,8 wicked for high wind freerace sessions.
