Some guy called h20 on here reckons he has used an older one with twin wave fins successfully.

He told me, just last week
The board runs well with twin fins. I did change the screws to make sure they didn't loosen. My son has used it as a learner board and I have sailed it in all conditions with the fins and foil.

Make sure to distinguish between Hover 122 and Hover Crossover 120 (jack of all trades except windsurfing)

thanks all, looks like it goes alright jimbob. yep think ill have to invest in some bigger twin fins, cant put much weight on back foot or it just slides out with the standard quad fins.

I sail my Hover with twin setup as an extra big board. Has been great to teach kids on. Had them out today with it. I went the biggest K4 twins I could. Sailed it flat water and up to 2 foot waves. Not super tight on the carve gybe or bottom turns but works fine.
