Special thanks to Ty for Sweeping and keeping an eye on everyone
Another great event! Thanks James and Windsurfing SA for organising, and thanks to Ty and Ocean Surf Co. for sponsoring. A great prize for everyone in the end.
Congrats to Mark the overall winner. A bit of a slog for me this year. 8 knots average speed, 20 knots max speed. 45 min.
What a great way to kick off the holiday sailing season and burn off that Christmas party food and booze binge
Congrats to the two Marks.
It was fantastic to see the WingFoilers zipping around too, and be in a mixed fleet of fin, foil and dingers.
Thanks WindsurfingSA for organising it (and James for the lift).
Big thanks to Ocean Surf Co for sponsoring and great set of prizes for everyone!
Cheers Ty for keeping me company at the back of the pack
Due to double pressing on GoPro button, I only got 26 seconds of beach start - ...this was the only frame worth posting.
Great event!
Thanks to Ty, James and everyone at WSA for organising this and other events. Wind sports are clearly popular at the moment and we should all try and support anything that these good people devote time and effort to hosting. There are nearly 50 users on our Windsurfing WhattsApp group now so a few more attendees would have been nice. Don't be scared off by the whole "race" thing. It's just a fun social sail........with the bonus of some nice prizes from Ocean Surf.
Well done again to all involved.
Rather tardy but big thanks to James and Ty (and others?) for organizing this. Was great fun and look forward to the next one where I'll turn up a bit earlier and rig a bigger sail!
