Hi ladies and gents

Currently the state government is looking into updating and changing the laws regarding the use of PFD's. Unfortunately the laws regarding windsurfing and kitesurfing have been overlooked for change. The proposed changes have been put out for public consultation for discussion. I know a lot of wave sailors are not fans of wearing PFD's , this is why I'm communicating this on this forum. A number of people from the kitesurfing community have responded to the discussion. But obviously the more people that respond to this, the greater voice we will have.

If you want to have your say, go to these pages.

"Lifejackets must be worn on surfboards, surf skis and stand up paddleboards (SUP) when on protected waters (NO CHANGE)."

How long has this rule been in place ?

Thanks for the heads up...Croc.

The State Morons who make BS laws and DPTI wanker who enforces this rubbish can go piss on an electric fence to entertain their days.
