Seaford Bowl was dropping some bombs on Monday. Started out good and just got better and better. Would have been nice to have some footage from the shore cos the Go Pro never does it justice.
Sets were easily shoulder to head high and the wind was spot on.
89 litre JP Thruster Quad and 5.6 Simmer Icon - fully lit in the gusts. Tricky shorebreak at times but plenty of sailors, both at Seaford and U-ies, enjoying the morning not working
There were definitely a couple of sizey ones that came through. Missed out on the Friday which I heard was a lot cleaner for waveriding but had fun with some good wave rides and fun loops.
Nice vid - looks great / you certainly scored once again- could see you guys having a ball on the Seaford web cam
More great days that I have missed as usual :(
Mauritius was better than expected in the few weeks prior :)
Terrific vid! it was a pretty epic session - one of the best I've had on the Mid for ages. Consistent head-high sets and fully powered on 4.7 ... and a lot of water moving over the reefs at times!
I nearly wore a couple of those sizey ones on the head. Impact zone and just moving but made it through them. Sounds like i had more luck than Rob.
Yes, Rob has finally discarded his bubble wrap.......the Dyno was officially christened and lost a chunk of gel coat
