Mast end failing?

Just pulled out when I took the mast base out. What to do?

Hard to tell by the pic but if that's carbon strands you could cut it back to where there is no delamination or use epoxy and carbon /glass cloth and put a few layers inside the mast you'll need to insert a dye or something in there to keep the shape and diameter while drying make sure you cover it with plastic or release agent so you can get it out
