hi looking for some info on sailing at stansbruy as I'm looking at going there in November for a week , things like wind direction and places to launch from would be good .

Hi Shane. Long time no see. The best direction in summer is SE. Launch point is here:

Booties are a must. Undersized weed fin desirable (no more than 32cm). The wind direction is normally not that square on the SE (some days worse than others), so you'll need to master going up wind (on the small fin) in one direction to stay close to the sand bar. The locals will give you more do's/don'ts tips. Probably will see you there. I've got a few weeks off Oct/Nov.

Hi j thanks mate , heading on the 17 November for a week staying at the caravan park so should be good . Hope you are down that way b good to catch up for a sail

J I see are selling your sail and mast I would be interested . Am home tomorrow will try to get you then
