'Favourite' can mean preference or it can mean habit, because we often buy into a brand.

In my case I seem to have a habit AND a preference for Severne sails and that's because they are lightweight and durable.

The lighter weight comes from attention to detail in the build and from the more expensive materials used - and the cloth and tough seaming are what ensure long term durability.
Does that then justify the high price? Well I guess it depends on your budget, but I'll add that my current 2020 sails still look like new.
I'll probably get some 2022 versions when they start to appear.

I also like the feel of my Severne S1s because they are perfect for the onshore wind and wave conditions we get in my area.
For more side shore conditions, or for blasting, and for high wind stability, many Severne fans prefer the Blades because they are slightly more 'forward-pulling'.

So these are reasons I'd still choose Severne, whatever my budget. When I'm broke, I just keep my existing sails longer.

I hope that answers the question.
Obviously there are a lot of other good brand sails on that list, but I'm not sure what my second choice would be. The Duotone wave sails seem to work well.

Within the same brand are different models...
I would buy any of them.

I'd probably get KS3s if I had the budget. Instead I'm on Simmer because I found a good deal and I highly doubt they are holding me back at all.

I wanna know why Mr 1st time poster is asking, and how come he's called Stralen yet a quarter of those brands are hardly seen in Stralia

Another short cut uni project for a failing marketing student?

MW sails making a comeback...?
