Wavesailing events in NSW are back!! With the next one just around the corner: The Big WSS Boards SMACK.
The event will take place during the November 20th-21st week-end, in Wanda (Cronulla).
Wavesailing contest, social winging & wavesailing sessions, beginner lessons on flat water for kids or adults, lots of prizes, and a mighty BBQ on the Saturday evening. It's all about fun, and everyone is welcome!

Memberships (whether for the season or for this event only) are available at nswwavesailing.org/membership/.
Meeting would be between 9:30am and 10:30am on the Saturday at the end of the GreenHills Car Park (Wanda).

Beginner lessons would start as early as 9am in Kurnell. This would be a great opportunity for your family or friends to give a go at windsurfing with adequate beginner gear, and in a very safe location. Please contact Jason Juretic on 0402 320 940 to register interest.

Thank you to our generous Sponsor for this event: WSS Boards (wssboards.com.au/ )!!

Please note: We are following all government directives regarding the Covid-19 pandemic (i.e. you would need to be fully vaccinated to attend this event).

Looking forward to the start of the Season!

As some of you may have seen, the forecast for this weekend is looking less than ideal. With this in mind, a number of sailors will be heading to Wanda this Thursday afternoon between 3:30 and 5:30 to enjoy the great wind and waves on offer. We are encouraging all NSWWA members to join the fun.

In addition the NSWWA will be at Wanda (not running an event) to giveaway some free stuff, and give all members their new 2021/22 NSWWA cap.

We will make a final call on Thursday regarding this weekend's planned event.

Look forward to seeing lots of you on Thursday,
NSW Wavesailing Committee

"We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope" - Martin Luther King Jr

It may be wet, it may be light, it may be slightly onshore, but there is hope!!! The event is thus still on this week-end, and we look forward to seeing you for the 1st event of the season! Meeting will be between 9:30am and 10:30am on the Saturday at the end of the GreenHills Car Park (Wanda).
If it doesn't happen, bring your surfboards, foils, wings, kites, SUP, cricket kits, any toy, to enjoy the day, before a social gathering & BBQ in the evening in Cronulla (details t.b.a. in the morning, or feel free to contact me on 04 1463 1415 to get more details)
Thank you again WSS Boards for the prizes, and come on Huey, you can do this!

It happened! It was rainy, it was onshore, but it was beautiful!! Congrats to all participants, with a special mention to Peter Puhl who was clearly at ease, confessing "I don't really have a favorite tack for jumping, Germany is always straight onshore"..
Thank you again to WSS Boards for the great prizes, and support throughout the seasons! (www.wssboards.com.au).
