Have 2 streamlined booms that are going strong but hating the you beaut head that is fairly corroded and over $200 to replace.
I would rather go a goya/chinook/severne etc lever style clamp.
Anyone had any success retro fitting without adding any bulk to the tubing?
The streamlined design gets fatter towards the boom head (35mm) so not sure its even possible
Most brands do sell replacements at $90-$100
Also looking into new eva grip and have watched Phil McGain on youtube enough to have a crack lol.
Appreciate any help and thoughts on the subject

This is the info I have just read.

It appears that the streamlined boom is 37mm at the front end.
Theres a few brands that might work, Im looking at the Goya one.

Looking like I'm heading down the Maui Sails road, with a minimum of rooting around. Bit dearer but.
Think Goya is 28mm fit.
Cheers for your input Madge

Turns out im not, a bit misinformed the site said available but no longer as Maui Sails has gone out of business
Hoping there is a solution, maybe a thicker slalom or race boom head
