The Severne Margaret River Wavesailing Classic is on again for 2022 running from Feb 4 -7.
The event has a 4 day event window in which we will run the event over 2 consecutive days with the best conditions.
* This year the event is a 3 star IWT Wave Tour event, in which you can earn ranking points for the IWT. And of course think of the glory should you win!!! Get on over the internationalwindsurfingtour.com/iwt-wave-tour/ to check out what they are all about.
* We have a $5000 prize pool which is equally divided amongst the Opens and Womens divisions. Need accommodation for the event, well stress less. We have free camping available at Osmington Road, please email Dean at dmtyrrell87@gmail.com to secure you spot. Conveniently this is also where the party will be held on Saturday 5th February.
* Saturday 5th February will be the night to end all nights, it's gonna be the biggest, bestest party the world has ever seen. What's that I hear you ask? Do we have a band? Of course we have a band, Seawitch is that band www.seawitchtheband.com/ probably have some other stuff going on too.
* Patrik Diethelm has stepped up as head judge this year.
Other members of the judging team include: - Karin Jaggi, Scott Mckercher, Paul Jackman, Jane Seman.
I recommend you book this event into your calendar, take advantage of the free camping, and get on over to the WWA website to register for the event. www.windsurfingwa.org.au/events/116706/
And remember places are limited so get in early.
A big thanks to the sponsors who have come onboard to support this event.

Sounds like it's going to be an epic event, just shame none of us from anywhere else in Oz will be able to make it thanks to the latest Covid wave
if you leave now you might be able make it in
Hahaha, like one of my customers in WA said to me yesterday it would be easier flying in from overseas! Anyway awesome that the event has got great local support and hopefully it will be a fixture on the IWT wave calendar for many years to come!
Unfortunately the Severne Margaret River Wavesailing Classic is POSTPONED due to the very unfavorable forecast.
We have a tentative date in March and will make an announcement once the date is confirmed.
If you have already purchased your event entry and would like a refund please email Windsurfing WA info@windsurfingwa.org.au
