After a long and wet winter in WA it was good to go up North. After not many days on the water I was hoping for some smooth sailing, but most importantly warm weather. Strong winds and a few days of swell got the heart pumping. Also, I had the biggest wipe out I've ever had up North, combined with the longest swim. Fortunately, my gear got washed back to the shore after I chased it along the coastline for 2,5km. Sometimes you just need to be lucky. I am sure most of you have experienced similar...and it feels good if you make it back Enjoy the video!
