Question: is there any good wave sailing at (or around) Sandy Cape just north of Jurien Bay? And if so, what tide is best... and what wind?

Not that I'd disclose
TBH there is one but it needs massive swell, its OK for something different but its a pain to get to and you'll love GH so don't bother :)

What Mark said. The spot needs a boat and even then it's fickle like most wave sailing spots between Lancelin and Dongara. You really need to know what works in terms of swell direction and size, wind strength and angle. Probably why most people just go to Lancelin and straight up to Geraldton.

Fair enough... and thanks guys for saving me time and hassle. I'll pop into GH sometime this summer (as I have a some mates who are moving there)... and then head up to Gero to enjoy Pt Moore, Sunsets and Coro's. Cheers!
