I am moving into Perth from QLD soon for work. Anyone had experience moving whole windsurf gear from other states (economical and safe )?
Would it be better to hire gear? are there many places we can hire gear in Perth?

Thanks for info

Don't know what the best way to get gear interstate is, short of driving it here yourself. But you'd want to be doing that or buying cheap second hand kit when you get here (depending how long you're staying), because hire gear is all but non existent over here.

it is well worth having gear here though, if you're here for summer or part there of.

I've always explained the nature of the gear to the removalists and they top loaded it, as-is in board bags etc. Done many like that and never had breakages.
Why wouldn't you bring it?
