We are now 2 days from the start of Pinnaroo Windsurfing Race. The wind is looking promising, and we are bound to have a great event. Over 30 competitors already registered. A mix of windsurfers, wingers, wind foilers, with the registrations still going.
The registrations are still open: www.windsurfingwa.org.au/events/130916/

Patrik Diethelm is the Race Director and will ensure we have heaps of fun.
Patrik has also organised a equipment demo day on Saturday with his sailors demonstrating it on the water so please come and have a look.
We are likely to set the course on Saturday, so come on Saturday too, have a look at Patrik's gear, and try the course.

Our Metro Kids are also going to join us at the Pinnaroo's so this is an opportunity to impress them with your gybing skills

A reminder to have a visible sail number so we can record you as you pass the finish. You are going to pass the finish South to North, so please place the sail number on your right side.

In the lead up to the event please keep an eye on Facebook or Seabreeze for any last moment updates.

The Pinnaroo Point map can be found here: www.joondalup.wa.gov.au/place/pinnaroo-point

Schedule
Sailor registration - 11am
She sailor briefing - immediately afterwards.
Races
Awards - appx 4pm
BBQ - following the awards

Mandatory safety equipment-
2 x flares for all competitors
Approved buoyancy vest for all competitors

In today's world of COVID safety - please remember to practise social distancing and hand hygiene. There will be hand sanitiser available at Thirsty Point.

The event will run for several hours, and will be followed by the award presentation and BBQ (meat and buns provided). Drinks will not be provided, so please bring what you wish to drink.

See you there

There will be hand sanitiser available at Thirsty Point. Should that read: "There will be beer available at Thirsty Point"
