Hi,
What would work better on a hyperglide sail a stiffer mast or a softer mast?
Aka Bic techno vs RSX 490 mast?
Thanks

I use the severne 490 in the 9m with a 40cm carbon extension as it makes teh sail a bit softer. A lot of the pros on the PWA do that as well. I wouldnt use a mast thats not severne.

Agree with Maddlad.
Save up and buy a severne apex. You could try the techno/rsx masts, but id say there will be some compatibility issues with both of them. I'd try the techno mast first. Not sure what mast bend curve bic follow, but neil pryde (the rsx set up designers) tend towards flex top masts, which really doesn't work with severne (constant curve).

Thanks, The sails not really worth buying a new mast for. Just using it to learn foiling.
Thanks
