Just wondering if anybody is doing the LT/Windsurfer worlds This year at mounts bay I. I am doing it for fun as I am normally competing in the IQ gear, just wondering if anyone is going to be doing it. thanks

Don't worry the Australian Masters Games is still on and its going to be awesome:

Register before 30 April to avoid fee increases and also give yourself the chance of early bird prize status. We already have over 17 entrants and many more at least 15-20 on the way just from NSW. If you are 30 or older get your diary sorted for Saturday 9 - Saturday 16 October 2021 for the Australian Master Games on the Swan River in Perth. This will be the biggest national Class event in 2021. I am hoping we will get at least 70 entrants possibly more and several world champions will be competing. Don't miss it and the fun and competition and the chance to test your mettle on identical equipment to top sailors.

No worries, sorry about that. Windsurfer Class Association of Western Australia Inc. (WCAWA) will be helping in organising several regattas prior to the AMG and I expect you will be eligible and welcome to participate. There is also I believe the Applecross Cup with a windsurfing division as well organised by SPYC with the assistance of Windsurfer Class Association of Australia (WCAA). There are also plans being drawn up for a big regatta at the end of the year at MBSC as well for a number of windsurfing classes at which you will be eligible. It will be fun and if you enter the Windsurfer Class events you will get fun, big fleet racing and the chance to sail against several World Champions.
I'm keen to participate in the Masters but looking for an LT if anyone is selling to upgrade to new kit for the racing

Secondhand Windsurfer LT's are fairly rare at moment, they come up occasionally but sell quickly. Sometimes they are traded-in so might pay to contact Mark Taylor at Surf Sail Australia (As I said to you on another Seabreeze post).
Also I recommend joining the FaceBook group "Windsurfer LT Racing at Mounts Bay Sailing Club (Perth, Australia)" (As a declaration, I'm admin for this group). Many of the Windsurfer LT Perth community are in this group and if you ask the question there maybe someone thinking of upgrading to a new board.
I traded my first Windsurfer LT a year ago so will not be changing mine for the Masters Games, but others might be (You never know until you ask).
Note, secondhand Windsurfer LTs hold their value well so don't expect to buy one cheap. With the Masters Games and Worlds next year there is plenty of demand for the Windsurfer LT in WA and across Australia.

Yep I've spoken to Mark and he has stock for now. I'll look for the FB group & ask there. Been speaking with Rich & Snides too. Is I can save a bit then I will and it'll help for the numerous trips that I'll be taking to come up and do Sunday races. cheers Dave
