Do you windsurf at Woodman Point regularly?
Cockburn Council is planning a stakeholder engagement session to discuss Protecting and Enhancing Fairy Tern Nesting at Woodman Point. The impact to windsurfing would be an exclusion zone being established off the west tip of the Wapet Groyne (westernmost groyne).
Windsurfing Western Australia has been invited to attend so we are looking for your assistance if you sail this location regularly.
The current proposal only looks to impact the very western end of the 2nd beach where everyone typically gybes and we don't think the northern side will be impacted at all.
