Armstrong S1 just a rebrand of the old foil or a whole new thing?

Hey Armstrong gurus I have a question about the new S1 line of foils. Based on sizes they seem to correlate with the old foils (1250, 1550, 1850). Does anyone know what the differences are?

Had the same observation. Teaching my girlfriend on the 1550v2. Works like a charm! Also curious about the differences, but also a bit reluctan how much a beginner would notice. Tried the 1550v2 as well myself and it is still a very pleasant foil and even could hold up in some wave riding.

To me they don't look same. For example tips are different. Also span is different.

Completely different foils. Just same sizes as the originals. I've used the S1 1550 winging. Feels
like the good old 1550 with some extra speed and super stable pitch stability. Kinda like foiling on autopilot.

Complete new foils. i don't think there are easier foil for beginners on the market. i do a lot of demos with foil drive and people that had zero experience with foil they go up and fly after 20/30 min. That's just incredible and never happend with other foils i've used. And the quality is the usual Armstrong top notch
