I'm on Axis but due to crazy UK prices ?1000 for the fireball, thinking of switching to Duotone.
Any thoughts feed back on them? Thanks
Quality is very good and any problems sorted well. Only used Glides, and for HAs are easier and more manoeuvrable than I expected. Only dislike is fuses are aluminium, so dismantle and wash. Dlab 1.0 masts OK, DLab 2.0 better.
Loads of great foils.
whizz, carve 2 dlab & new glide 2 dlab are amazing

I switched from Axis to the Duotone - just like you are considering.
Got my new gear a couple of weeks ago (Glide 2.0 D/Lab 750 and 900, D/Lab 2.0 Mast 94cm, 43cm carbon fuselage).
Quality is superb, fitment of parts is way better than Axis.
Have not looked back at all, the new Glide 2.0 foils are absolutely fantastic - crazy low end for such small foils (the 900 is my light wind foil) and the 750 is a rocket ship, I'm now looking at getting the 620 as they are so easy to get on foil.
Super easy to control, loads of speed and glide - could not be happier with them.
Nothing like the Axis high aspect foils which I found to have poor low end and less than impressive turning ability. When the Axis Art V2 and Fireball arrived I looked at them and thought - all that money and they aren't even full planes, just bolt on foils - too expensive for what they are.
I've also used the Whizz 1000 and that is a great foil for riding super small bumps and wind driven swell.
My advice would be go for it as it's been all positive for me. I'm not a sponsored rider, all paid for out of my own hard graft.
I really feel like duotone could have an exciting offering, and have the riders and results to prove it.. but it's so hard to step away from the axis community which has so much information and people nerding out. I feel like if I switch brands I'm just gonna have way less people sharing their experiences and getting me excited. But maybe it's healthier to get off the internet and just ride and listen to the gear yourself.
I also ride Duotone foils, not sponsored by them, I can choose to buy whatever I want. But my experience with them has been extremely good. I jump a lot, and like others have said, the build quality is excellent. No component has ever failed.
They sat on their "Aero High Aspect" foil range for too long, and would have lost market share as a result.
They now have a decent range of offerings, and the Glide 2.0 and the Carve 2.0 are great, depending on what you want. I'd agree with previous post that the Glide 2.0 gets up much earlier than previous iterations.
I've used the Aero Free foils too, which are very user friendly. I have demoed a Whizz 1000 (winging) , which was very agile for its size, and has low stall speed. Specifically for prone foiling, I can see it would also be fun for winging, albeit particularly if you're not into jumping. Can't have everything though, lol.
So I've been very happy using the Duotone foils, which like many other brands, have some terrific offerings.
Jo!
Also thinking about switching. The new fuse is great. Already comes with helicoils. I had that problem with fxxxed screwhole once with axis. Lot of ppl said use a Helicoil it would be stronger than before. DT comes with that out of the box.
I tried the glide 1100 and I agree it's great foil. But I used the whizz stab to make it more agil. For pumpfoil I already use the AMP and it's cool. Sold the PNG. I think the AMP it's a bit like the big Artpro 1401?! I also guess the hyperglide should be the fireball from DT. But didn't test it yet. Pricewise it's really more attractive. Let's see. Waiting for testing the glide 2.0 900 and maybe I can test the hyperglide later.

What do you think on 94 mast? I've got the 90 DLab and wondered if 94 too detatched-feeling for winging.

Feels great to me, I came from a 90cm Axis Power Carbon High Modulus. I haven't had any issues with it at all. I don't feel detached from it in any way.
