Gong are working on a single skin downwind wing, a double skin freeride and and double skin race wing. They call them lowkites.

Who'd have thought that the breakthrough on all this is simply turning the kite bar 90 degrees and making the lines really short?
Parawing is the future of freeriding. Not having a big bulky draggy wing to dance around is a total game changer and opens up every line you want to take.

You make it look great. I have followed you on YouTube since the beginning. From the first days when it looked like a nightmare, to today, when you make it look awesome. I have ordered a full quiver from Flow.

Glad you enjoy them. The Flow look great! Look forward to your thoughts on them.

Looking at the race kite looking wing from gong I'm really curious what the race kite community thinks. I definitely think that's the target market here - getting a course racing discipline that is closer to the performance of big ram air race kites without the race ruining tangles and logistics of 30m lines on a race course.
i think we're all eager to see how those 3 wings end up

i'm in the opposite school. i got the BRM a while back, used it a few times and said 'nah!'. maybe i need more time with it, but to me, it was far more a nuisance than flagging out a standard wing. i think if you often flag a wing for hundreds of yards, the parawing makes sense, but from what i see and experience, we flag, and then re-engage often, and this process is far more complex with the parawing. and i see even our best parawingers fiddling around with their lines and sail on their boards out there quite frequently. so in this guy's opinion, it's currently a no-go.

It is harder to master than winging. 100% need to put the time in. Not going to be for everyone. You'll need good bump/wave riding skills to get the most out of it or for sure it will be a steep learning curve.
